Don’t do drugs if going to an LSU residency program. They drug test prior to residency. A guy I knew had to go to rehab for smoking pot so he could keep his residency spot.

Get a throw away Netter’s too. Do kids these days still use Netter’s, or some iPad app?

Our class all got a free Grant's atlas if I remember correctly
Netters was my favorite. The Netters flash cards are a wonderful supplement with good info. I passed the Head and Neck anatomy block simply by attending lecture/lab and studying the cards and atlas. I didn't review a single lecture's notes that month.
Rohen's is cool if you want real cadaver pictures. Probably would be useful in studying for a practical exam, but time committed to a single vetted, reputable resource was probably more valuable than any given resource vs another. Some of the best advice we got early on was essentially that- picking one resource and studying the hell out of it.
