What could cause a car engine to burn oil at a faster rate? My wife -no pics, bitches- got a VW Beetle to save on gas driving back n forth to BR for school. She gets her oil changed and like 2-3 weeks later her light comes on and the car is down a Quart or more. Theres no leaks to be found.
Thanks for the time

Damaged head or head gasket
Oil pan leak
Low compression
Cracked block
Or it could just be that you’re a gators fan

Are you black? I’ve always noticed that they sell a lot of oil at black gas stations. A whole isle of it usually.

Maybe they didn't put the correct amount of oil in...next time do it yourself

If there aren't oil stains in the driveway from leaks it's likely leaking through the piston rings or valves and burning with the fuel.

Well first off, cars shouldn’t burn oil at any rate. I get my oil changed and 4-6 months later, the level is still the same at the next oil change.

Valve stems are leaking or engine is wore out and burning some oil. You don’t notice it burning because the catalytic converter is burning it off at a high temp
