He took a hard stance the second Smith got killed. Once more to the story started coming to light, he stayed with his original opinion regardless of facts.

Huh?
I think Gasser is responsible for whatever his image may be. The prior incident, coupled with a road rage incident where he killed a man, is plenty reason to believe Gasser is a shitty human being. Whether a crime can be proven is another story altogether.

Could very easily come in under Prieur.
Basically, evidence of other crimes or bad acts is admissible to show motive, opportunity, intent, preparation, plan, knowledge, identity, absence of mistake or accident.

Absolutely, doesn't even have to be something you were formally charged with.
Prieur is used every, single day to bring in evidence of prior bad acts much less similar than the situation currently being discussed.

That doesn't seem right. So shite that I may or may not have done in the past with no evidence or wittneses can be used as evidence in a separate case.

The state has to prove by a preponderance of evidence (or clear and convincing, debatable based on situation) standard at a pretrial hearing that both the crime occurred and that the defendant was connected with the crime.
And to be clear, the evidence can't be offered to show character. It's pretty simple, however, to fit what's basically character evidence into one of those several other categories.

shite happens daily. this shows cardelle hayes lawyer will pretty much "defame" will smith's character. stuff that got swept under the rug will be magnified to show he was a POS too.
