More importantly Hayes is black so in Louisiana he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt where as Gasser got a police guard on his house while they figure out the facts.

I'm not sure why it is so outlandish for Gasser to say "I told you I was going to frick you up." Whether this person could hear it and/or whether this person is telling the truth is up for debate, but it doesn't seem ridiculous to think that he may have said that. It doesn't make him guilty of anything either though. He just shot a man 3 times after a road rage incident, so to think his adrenaline is pumping and he tells McKnight that he shouldn't have fricked with him seems pretty believable.

You mean like from the start you have ignored all evidence while promoting McKnight as innocent and anyone thinking to the contrary is racist? Why don't you tell us how chasing down a guy and boxing him in then get out your car and approach him in assault threatening manner isn't
an issue?

I do like how the early defense in this thread was poor little scrawny white guy felt threatened by big angry black man. Turns out, Gasser is in pretty good shape himself and actually looks to be the same size as McKnight.

Hayes was never released from prison since he was first arrested. They kept him in jail until they were able to build a case against him. Gasser was released that night.

Hayes' jury selection started today actually. He's been in jail for 8 months with a bail set at $1.75 million.
