Great, just what I wanted.. more interaction with the people who work at McDonalds. They're always so friendly and helpful. I don't eat there often, but this is an additional reason to eat somewhere else.

What? You don’t want to wait 5 minutes for a refill as no one acknowledges your existence while filling orders.

With the ever-increasing price of fast food these days you might as well go eat at a decent restaurant. And most of those don't charge for refills

They might not charge you for a refill, but they will charge you $3-350 for pop. So what’s the difference?

Bet they don’t say “My pleasure” when you ask them for a refill.

McDonald’s is joining CFA in attempting to eliminate lobbies all together. The new CFAs I see are drive thru only. It’s basically a checkers model.

Makes sense when a majority of your business is done in the drive thru or curb side.

From a work flow perspective, McDonalds will need that much more productive of an employee to handle these refills along with their normal responsibilities. They'll need to find better people, manage the restaurants competently, or hire more people (all of which Chick Fil A does).

McDonald’s will be fully automated at some point

I read last week that McDonald’s was loosing money because people can’t afford their prices so they were going to lower the prices on some items to get customers back. This sure as hell aint going to help

Doing all they can to drive the company out of business. Can't remember when we stopped at one. Others will lose interest too. No value = going somewhere else.
