JHC I thought these were all down.
How many monuments does NOLA have anyway?
Get rid of them and be done. You rednecks are fighting a battle you will not win. Best to save face and live to fight another day.

Yes it does.
OK. The WW II museum promotes white supremacy. I'll have to check it out never been there.

They were erected by revisionists promoting the Lost Cause ideology.

Does it celebrate the actions of a segregated and mostly white army that represented the supremecy of White America?
Yes.

some of those WWII soldiers were probably racist, so yes.
Which ones? Did they betray their nation to advance the cause of white supremacy?
Maybe we should judge people by their actions. Just a thought.

i'd imagine some of those soldiers probably even came back and lynched some people in the 50s/60s.
When you can tell us which ones did it we'll take any statues of them down, too.

I see what you did there. You didn't like the question asked so you answered another one.
Does it celebrate white supremacy?

OK. So are you going to write Mitch about it? Maybe you're on to something. Let us know how it turns out.

Pretty sure there's something about the Red Ball Express and Tuskegee Airmen.

Lots.
New Orleans battlefield (fought to preserve the slave holding king of cotton New Orleans
Jackson Square
Jackson Barracks
St Louis Cathedral, Presbytere, Cabildo - all built with slave labor
Fleur de Lis
New Orleans archives (for remembering and recording the slave holders)
All plantations within Louisiana
Not to mention street names, and neighborhoods, Tremee, Marigny, etc.

So let's rid ourselves of the term "African American". Why would any black person in this country want to be subjected to being grouped in with people who sold their ancestors?
