Had a pair of costas for a few years now and they’re starting to get bad…
My many years old Costa rimless developed cracks where the screws go in the lenses. I opened an account with them, uploaded pics and info, and they replied within a day or two that they would cover it under warranty.
They let me pick a new lens color, as my model was no longer available in my original lens color, sent me a shipping label, and sent me a new pair upon receipt of my broken glasses.
That was about a month ago. Years back, I had some Maui Jims develop the same damage. MJ made me pay for new lenses.
I see people post experiences all over the map with both companies. Might as well ask them.

I've had them all over the years. A pair of Smiths I had in the early 90's were my favorite, but I lost them and the style was discontinued.
Had several MJ, the "jaws" ('89?)are still my all favorite. Had the lenses replaced 3 times without hassle, the final time about 10 years ago they fixed them and said I "got lucky because they happened to find an old pair laying around but we're unlikely they would ever be able to fix them in the future."
Now I just go cheap. Tired of losing them.
Shady Rays are awesome for about $40. I even got a prescription pair for about $120.
Can't beat them and they already replaced them free once! Supposed to be LIFETIME WARRANTY!

MJ replaced my wife’s broken lenses, no questions asked.

If cheap sunglasses are good enough for ZZ Top then they're fricking good enough for me.
