That is what we know so far and hopefully the number doesn’t rise.

Not surprised in the least. People in the DFW metroplex drive like maniacs. 80 mph and eight feet from car to car. shite was bound to happen.

I hate driving through Dallas more than any other city I know.

Well, this was Ft Worth and not Dallas.

This may be the most ridiculous thing you've ever posted.

Horrible and mostly preventable. Seasoned winter drivers don’t drive fast on ice let alone morons that do it once a decade.

Thank God there weren't any tanker trucks hauling flammables (that I've seen) that would have been beyond devastating.

From the overhead video/images it looks like the driver of the Coca Cola truck did a damn good job stopping that thing and not hitting anyone with all things considered.

Honestly, preventable isn't the first thing I thought of.

If you drive slowly on ice you get fender benders and not vehicles slamming into stopped vehicles at speed.

That FedEx truck was coming in way too hot to be driving in icy conditions. It's not like people didn't know this was coming. We've been talking about it on here for a week

Dallas ends in Grand Prairie/Irving.

Then there’s Arlington between them.

And there’s finally Ft Worth.

Takes me 45 min to get from my place in downtown Dallas to Ft Worth. It’d be like if I said Lafayette and Baton Rouge were the same even tho they’re 45 min apart with a giant basin bridge between them.

you can overlay the state of Connecticut on a map of the DFW metroplex, it's smaller

Dallas is easy as hell to get around and the traffic isn't all that bad for a city and suburbs with such a large population. I really don't understand the complaints from people.

Don't doubt it. Did enjoy working right next to lake Arlington that one summer. The drive down to the rig was thru the ghetto off quail road

How can you not tell when when Dallas ends and Arlington starts? It's pretty obvious.

I'd get not knowing when you've left Dallas to Richardson to south Plano and maybe even as far north as Allen but Dallas to Arlington? Really?
