2) I would but I just got a data under-usage alert so I need to watch some film clips...
III- Good luck on your lotto ticket.

I guess I am an idiot, but the only thing I see that's cellular is under:
Settings - More - Cellular Networks - Data Enabled (Enable data access over mobile network)
This setting is Checked/On.

New riots have broken out...Things are getting bad. I do not think it is about data usage.
I am glad I don't live downtown. I guess all of these rioters will be going home soon so they are refreshed for their jobs tomorrow.

Mine you go under settings, then cellular, scroll down and it will say "things using data for " and keep scrolling to very bottom and there will be a wifi assist turn on/off

Thanks. I will keep checking.

What kind of phone do you have? Is it a bag phone? What color is the bag? I understand some colors use more data...not sure if that is true.

You still have my picture your spank bank? Its flattering and creepy at the same time.

Why don't you offer Mr. Pullo some assistance with his issue instead of doing what it is you do?

disabling Javascript
Does this stop the link/quote/img/etc buttons from working when you're posting something?
I've disabled, or blocked, the JavaScript, and I also turned on "data saver" in Chrome settings, but now when I hit the buttons in TD Mobile, nothing happens
ETA. Yep, that's what it was. That's not going to work. Thanks anyway.

it happened to me too. I went from maybe 2gigs to about 5 in just a few months.
Once I went up on my data plan to 6 gigs, I never went over 3 gigs again

We now have 8 "bonus" gigs in addition to the 12 we were getting, and it seems like we started using more about the time they started giving us the 8 bonus gigs.
But none of the other phones or tablets appear to have increases as much as mine. Granted I haven't looked into them as much.

I assume you know that video uses a lot more data than anything else if you are not on Wifi. Just talking basics here...
If you're worried about being hacked hopefully you have a backup to Google. Restore your phone to the backup...problem solved.

Yes. But the thing is, I haven't changed my surfing habits in anyway that would explain the increase.
If anything, I have cut back and tried to be more conservative the last cpl cycles.
I turned this "data saver" setting in which seems to be a type of compression setting. Going to give it a try.
For the types if increase that I listed in the OP I would have to do some serious changes to my surfing habits and TD I'd basically the only thing I do in my phone. Or the local paper. I don't use Netflix or anything like that on my Data plan, I've never had a Facebook account, etc..
And then you look at he data breakdown page in settings it's not YouTube videos, it is specifically Chrome that's using 6+/8+ GBs currently.
Thanks.
I am going to holdup on the restore for the time being.

Nope. As I said earlier, my surfing habits haven't changed.
I don't watch any more/less pron than I have in the past, which is 5.4 mins, 2-3x/day.
