Yeah there was a thread about it a cpl- three weeks ago but nothing was really concluded. I'm just wondering if it could be a virus or something?

And a quintuple post couldn't have happened on a more appropriate thread.

Maybe the cops are running a Stingray on my phone. J/k

This happened to me last month. We suddenly got an alert about nearing the maximum of our data usage when we were all at home on wifi. Data went from about 50% to 90% in a day. Ended up being charged an overage for the first time ever.

frickin' A. That stupid-arse...I should meet up with him and whip his arse...but I am an older, distinguished gentleman. And I would likely forget where the meet was...

FYI...If I somehow die in a riot here, I have enjoyed your contributions.

fyi...practically no one pays attention to our posts.

Yeah we went over last month, but it was less than a GB and after the Missus called them they dropped the overage.

But I have been trying to conserve and still increasing. Something ain't right.

Do you browse td using your data? I think it has to do with the ads here fwiw. Either some are absurdly large, or they don't cache correctly and redownload everytime. Or some seem to be really sensitive and clicking them brings you to their unoptimized site unintentionally.

My answer was disabling Javascript

I think I should make a post in ONE of your many threads that is on topic so I don't get banned...

On topic, I think Verizon is running some kind of scam...

Who can check up on them? Usage Audit? How could one fight them? Why did App lose to Miami so badly? Is one of these questions off topic? How could you prove Verizon wrong? does Chicken like controversy? Why does Bono always wear tinted glasses? When is the last time Bill and Hillary had marital relations....with each other?

That's why I had to post this 5x. To make sure it got noticed.

Chris has such a pathetic life that he doesn't need any more bad things.

Hell the guy's legs and dick don't work, he has a "beard" like someone shaved their pubes and glued them to his face.

If I were him I would go upstairs (using one of those electric chairs that carries cripples up steps), run a warm bath, and slit my wrists and save the world from my pathetic existence.

Yes. I use the mobile site.

I have also noticed a lot more redirects while surfing here. Things like winning a Walmart gift card, etc. To where I have to close out and restart my browser (Chrome). I didn't know if that was malware on my phone or something on here.

Yeah there was a thread a cpl weeks back about how some Verizon users, across the country more so than just on here, were experiencing some increased data usage.

I didn't see a "wifi assist", but my wifi stuff is off/stays off and I haven't changed anything.
