If he bought up to 8 full auto rifles plus gear and surveillance equipment then he spent a chunk. Several grand per rifle. If they were bump fire or binary trigger ARs then a grand or so per rifle, but still a good bit of cash.

Anywhere that you can get behind for cover.
I'll say this, when my military unit does active shooter drills, like we're in a building and have no weapons on us or anything, the SOP isn't to just lay down and get shot. It's to leave any open area and find a room and lock it or barricade. Or leave the building altogether if possible.
The goal isn't to sit right there where the perp is shooting at, it's to leave the area asap.
A moving target is a lot harder to hit than a target literally laying in your field of fire.

Only reports I've heard is that there was a hispanic woman telling people "everyone here is going to die tonight," which if true either means she's some kind of clairvoyant, it's just a twisted coincidence, or she knew something. Or perhaps the most likely option that the story's bullshite.

Its hard to tell. Some videos you swear there is another shooter but it could be that the gunshot sound gets louder when the gun is pointed towards the camera filming and descends when its pointed away.

yeah in a situation like this all you can do is find cover pref one that can give you 360 degrees. I prob would have ran under the stage if I could not quickly get to an exit which lead off the property

I get what you are saying. Anything is better than laying flat in an open field, but if you run and get behind a trash can, and your back is to the Tropicana? Or a parking garage?
