I just started listening and my question about the second room was answered. There is an adjoining doorway between the rooms and they found a single action rifle in that room.
Yeah he did say Paddock had access to the adjoining room.

He did. He said that during the first few days they were scouring everything to find any accomplices and came up empty so far.

I hate getting stuck as the last post on a previous page. No on ever reads and discusses what you say.
Gonna paste it here.
Edit: I was immediately proven wrong about my last post on a page assertion.
Gonna paste it here.

He said there wasn't a second shooter, which most of us believed. He never said anything about an accomplice though. Also, the timeline still doesn't make much sense if you piece together all of the current official information.
Also, it's obvious the FBI is handling these guys, and there are still 2 things from yesterday's presser that muddies the water.
A) Lombardo being asked how many cell phones Paddock had, Lombardo then asking the FBI agent if he can give out that info, the agent answering "I don't believe its prudent we give out that information", and then Lombardo answering the question by saying "I don't know how many cell phones Paddock had".
That's just an odd exchange.
B) Lombardo walking back what information was on the note by saying "I'm not at liberty to discuss that" when asked about it.
Edit: I was immediately proven wrong about my last post on a page assertion.

Thought I listened to everything, missed that. What happened to the unnamed woman they were looking for amongst all of the hookers?

He said they couldn't find anything to support the claim; i.e. they used casino video to back track him from day 1 and found that he was never with or talked to anyone but casino staff. But he did leave it open that they may find a such a connection as the investigation proceeds.

That's a decent default explanation, and I don't think it's anything too convoluted but more than just he's crazy or not thinking.
The most reasonable guess IMO is that he shot twice to gauge the shot.
Wonder if he could have done it earlier without anyone noticing, (with plans to put the tannerite from the car on the tower) but wasn't able to or changed his mind.

Anyone else seen this video?
LINK
Guy uses physics and math to dissect youtube footage to find 2 shooters.
Basically the bullet hits first, then you hear the report. So you can then use math to figure out the 'lag time' between when the bullet hits and the report. Then you can figure out the distance based on the gun type and bullet.
He basically confirms one from Mandala Bay, and then shows that another shooter is around 250 yards from ground zero.
----
Eitherway, I think it is safe to say that the main stream story is bullshite.

The Undersheriff said he’s 100% confident there was only one shooter. So that theory is dead.

I'd bet shooting the security guard did 2 things:
1. It made the situation real. Until he pulled that trigger he may have been disillusioned with the whole scenario. Shooting someone and hearing them scream or seeing them bleed is a whole different event from planning.
2. He realized how fricking loud a gun is in a hotel room without ear protection.
The 5-6 minute gap between shooting the security guard and the 10 minutes of psychotic chaos:
He centers and gathers his nerve and tries to plan his next course of action or maybe just sat there staring at the door expecting more people to come.
Finally he turns to shoot at the crowd. My guess is the first burst fricked him up. Between muzzle flash, loudness of the bangs in that room without ear protection, and the reality of the situation he mightve just said frick whatever planning he had and started to just unload until he was so disoriented, deaf, and distraught he killed himself.
The problem with my theory I realized is he had the wherewithal to monitor when the cops were coming and fire through the door before killing himself. However, if the 200 shots is inaccurate and it was a just the remaining bullets in the mag and then he shot himself that makes sense.
Bottom line is we just don't know enough and what we do know is too shakey and incorrect to piece this thing together yet.

Plus they have said one thing, only to back track later.

Yeah, dead until they walk it back.

How incompetent is the LVPD? Jesus what a shitshow.
Can they just let the FBI take over already?

Maybe the FBI is the source of the shitshow? Many reasons to not have a lot of faith in them lately.

Yeah, I trust local baws to be honest way more than whatever operation/inconvenience the FBI may be covering up.

FBI is running this entire thing.
They have ALL of the electronic evidence collected. All of it. They told that last Tuesday at one of the pressers.
They only tell LVPD what they want them to know.
Scroll up and look at my quote regarding the conversation between Lombardo and the FBI agent in the room.
Edit: Also, they obviously have a gag order out. Since Friday, when Laura Loomer posted several pictures taken from the Mandalay Bay's security monitors, there have been 0 leaks. None whatsoever.

I doubt it.
Let’s just get the CIA, NSA, DOJ, FBI, NASA, get everyone involved and let the LVPD go arrest hookers and scam artist.

Actually, LVMPD is one of the finest and most well-run units in the country. This is just a crazy investigation.
