its funny but in all seriousness...100% shouldnt be using a composite or really any 2 piece bat for practice and cage work. and yea you should send it off the be hot rolled if you want it to last close to a year and not have dead spots
but the catx still isnt available publically is it? thought it marrucci clubhouse only for a while longer.
as far as differences....i know the cat 9 composite was way hotter than the cat 8 composite, same with connect. Alloy, doesnt make a ton of difference.
i know most are making fun of it, but most people on the OT are retarded when it comes to youth sports.

The people mocking the bat are the same ones who talk glowingly about the bat models from their youth.

my middle is swinging a meta this year as i had a 33% coupon and it was best bat available. I had bought my oldest a cat9 composite but he hadnt unwrapped yet and he decided he was done with baseball and was just gonna concentrate on football and track.

my son had a previous -10 meta (sold when went up in length) and has currently a -8 meta. He likes them too. CatX composite will be his -10 option now.
