That's not the kind of equality that modern feminism wants, though. They want it to be easier for them so that everything can be "equal", even though that makes no fricking sense what-so-ever.
For what it's worth, I could be described as a classic feminist in that I believe in equal rights and opportunity for women. However, modern feminists have twisted what equality means and now assert that it means we need to have just as many women we have men doing something, even if it means grossly lowering standards to achieve said goal.

Well shite they get paid the same as long as rank and experience or the same regardless of most of the jobs.

You're problem is while you're thinking logically, progressives are totally driven by emotion. They cannot use logic because they're unable to control their emotions. Michael Berry made a great point about this yesterday....
What does a 3 year old child and a dog have in common? The answer is both their actions are driven by emotion. Ever tried to reason with a dog or 3 year old child? If you have you know you can't reason with either because neither can use logic. That's how liberals operate. When they are faced with a situation they cannot look at the situation from a logical standpoint. They didn't think. Instead they feel.
This is why arguing with a progressive about political matters is as big of a waste of time as trying to get your dog to see the logic of not shitting on the carpet or a 3 year old of why there is not a monster in the closet that wants to eat them.

Speaking from someone who went to basic with females, I don't think I could possibly be more against this.
Putting up with the females and their bullshite was easily the worst thing about basic training. The constant attitude and arrogance knowing they could get away with murder as well as the acceptance that these people were the future of our military was infuriating. We had more disciplinary issues with the females than males despite being comprised of 80% males. Hell even hygiene was more of an issue with them, which you almost never see in the real world. Guys are dirty as hell.
I could go on and on. Once they get to their unit, fine, there are ways we can work with that, but frick integration during basic training.

The concept of females in basic is so foreign to me. I went through Armor School the summer of 1988 and the only females we saw the whole time was the old Korean ladies who worked at the chow hall. And even they started looking pretty damn good somewhere around week 6 or 7.

If the servicemen and women cannot be integrated from day #1, then the troops should be ONE sex. Choose either men or women and move on.
