That's horrible. I know what's in those floodwaters. But as much sewage as there is, you just don't think about flesh eating bacteria. It's just so repulsive to think about.


Do you have to have a cut to contract it?

I'd tell my doctor to just cut off whatever limb it was on to stop the spread. frick that. And why the hell can't modern medicine kill it? If I had that, I would probably be desperate enough to pour bleach on it.

As a germophobe, this scares the shite out of me.

It would stand to reason if there were a God who created everything, including our capacity to understand experience love, that his understanding of particular events, as acutely tragic as they may be, are more comprehensive than ours - with regards to his wider plan (drama) of bringing forth love under the sun.

Or, I don't understand how anyone could think an event like this matters at all, let alone is acutely tragic, unless there is an absolute standard of love and justice which it seemingly transgresses.
