Man threw brick at girlfriend from Onyx Lounge roof: OPSO

A West Monroe man is facing one charge of domestic abuse aggravated assault after he allegedly threw a brick off of the Onyx Lounge Gentlemen's Club roof and at his girlfriend.
According to an arrest report for Christopher Slavant, age 20, Rue Laplace Drive, deputies were dispatched to the Onyx Lounge regarding a disturbance.
A witness from the security team at the club said he saw a person standing on the roof throw a brick at the victim. He said he saw Slavant looking down at the victim from the edge of the roof.
When he walked around the front of the lounge, he saw the suspect driving away on a motorcycle.
The victim told deputies she was in an on and off relationship with the suspect over the last two years. She said she just started working at the club, and it made the arrestee irate.
The victim said she looked up and saw the arrestee looking down at her.
The suspect told officers he was at the Onyx Lounge overnight Wednesday but did not throw a brick at the victim.
