Some went to mid city beer garden, others to Chelsea’s/brickyard, etc. The Bulldog has a lot more competition now, and a lot of their regulars aged out with kids and stuff without being replaced by new waves of college students. The beer bar college kids go to MidTap.

Was he a Bulldog customer, or just in the same parking lot as the Bulldog? - the usual, overly sensationalized headlines from the WBRZ/Advocate.

I know in similar college towns like Madison, Tuscaloosa, Columbus, Athens, etc… places are constantly adapting with new waves of college students. Looks like they missed out on a great opportunity to market to newer college students.

Breauxsif and Pirate King are probably giddy over it too.

Are the Wednesday pint night crowds as massive as they were around 2011 or so?

I know that’s over 10 years ago, but it was almost impossible to get in there on pint night.

The Bulldog was responsible for my entire inventory of glassware during that time.

Meh. They were never a college bar and never tried to be.

I mean you dont have any idea what really happened. I wouldnt be surprised if it was some homeless dude and had nothing to actually do with people at the bulldog.

You’re right. I have no clue what happened. I also don’t go to places where people have been stabbed right outside the building and I’m pretty certain others feel the same way.

ETA:
If you can’t go to Bulldog, where can you go?

I went a few weeks back and it was awesome. The crowd was medium size and I could get drink quickly.

BRPD certainly ambushed people leaving The Bulldog 10 years ago. With the Benny's car wash close by, the cops usually were waiting there or the McDonalds parking lot, watching who made a turn onto Perkins without using their turn signal.

I mean, a high profile cyclist death on Perkins was committed by a guy who had left the bulldog(after drinking all over BR all day) so of course they were going to set up shop there.

Across the street from Rainn Unicorn Farts Wilson's church? I bet the victim doesn't make fun of him for changing his name ever again.
