Someone needs to teach police how to block & throw punches.
A cop with mediocre boxing skills could have knocked that guy out immediately.

The alternative was to shoot him, then they would be yelling about how they should've used their batons.

yeah it looks like they used every method possible to try and detain him without resorting to lethal force even though it looks like they were well within their rights to go lethal

Pretty sure they had one recently in Chicago or Baltimore that swung on a guy that resisted. Didn’t work out well for him
