Sorry, but did it kind of strangle him?
Its a powerful magnetic field pulling that big arse chain against the magnet with the only thing stopping it being this idiot's neck...

when I had my wreck I thought I lost my gold chain, ended up in the hospital, got an MRI and I remember them asking me if I had anything magnetic, glad it was real gold

All MRIs have an emergency quench button which collapses the field, why was it not used will be very informative

There are so many signs...that is truly a "never" event

What kind of weirdo wears a 20 pound chain to a doctors office

It must of been platinum (I know it weights more than gold, but there are heavier metals than platinum.. I am just trying to get an idea of his chain)
Platinum and gold are not magnetic

Einstein in some of his later works actually proved that it wasn't possible for a college baseball player to not wear a chain necklace in game. The force of seeing others wear it, is just too strong to resist, and make one's own path.

Why wouldn’t the tech turn off the machine before he called in the husband?
You don’t turn MRI machines on/off.
I don’t understand how a MRI tech let someone wearing a fricking 20lb chain around his neck in.
There’s more to the story.

No, there really isn't. A guy wearing a 20 lb chain walked in, and got attracted to the MRI.

I want to know the exact detail cause of death. Did the necklace pin his neck to where he was strangled and couldn't breathe? Has to be that. Simply being pinned against an MRI machine isn't going to kill someone. It had to of strangled him as I just can't envision dying from a necklace you're wearing stick to an MRI.

He also wasn’t waving goodbye to his wife right before going limp, those were just muscle spasms
Posted on 7/19/25 at 7:49 pm to Ed Osteen
I'm sure he was too busy flailing around and pissing his pants to wave bye bye
Posted on 7/19/25 at 7:52 pm to Saunson69
I suspect the violence of being dragged into an active MRI by a magnetic 20 lb chain around his neck was the cause of death.
The chain went into the MRI, not sure how much of him made it inside.
I doubt he slid in gently

The necklace wants to flatten out across that big arse magnet... the only thing in the way is squishy human flesh. The magnet wins and even his body weight can't stop it.

"He had a bad chain reaction."
