My comment has taken a lot of heat. No, I do not believe she is to blame. I put 100% of the blame on the violator.

But we must understand that we live in a dangerous society where there is mental illness everywhere. From killers, to rapists, to pedophiles. Anything can triggers these lurkers. Some may never act, but some do act.

Yes, she has the right to jog in a revealing outfit through the city streets and into a wooded area (opportunity). That is certainly her right. I have the right to count my wad of cash as I walk through the hood. I have the right to leave my keys in my motorcycle at a bus stop. Yes, it's our right, but we need to use better judgement and not be so naive as to what lurks in the distance.

Yes, she exercised her "right". She showed them. But it's within our power to lessen the odds that a tragic situation happens to you.
