Is Tara or Broadmoor really within 1000 feet?

Sounds like a bullshite arrest and it will be appropriately thrown out. It sounds as though it's being based on the following section of LA statute 95.6:

Denham Dick oughta recon the area next time he wants to try and intimidate protesters. Don't act like his motive was anything remotely altruistic or genuine.

Oh yea, wasn't even thinking of St. Luke's. I was about to say.

Judging by down votes and responses, I think people thought I was being a smart arse . I was honestly just curious bc I definitely didn't think either of those were.

Thanks for the info.

Is there a "no gun zone" map for Baton Rouge? Basically, a map the highlights the areas you shouldn't bring a gun?

A video on Gravy's page has two guys talking to a female while she records. I believe one of them is the guy that got arrested. One of them clearly admits to being in a school zone (Hosanna) on tape while carrying firearms. He was a dumbass and police did the right thing by arresting him.

Isn't there a law against bringing any firearm to a protest?

Not a lawyer, and don't even play one on tv. But is school law enforceable on a Saturday?

That's a good question. I would guess the gun laws are probably year round, unlike the speed zones, which are only enforced certain times.

Good. There were enough LEOs there to protect and serve without this wing nut thinking he would need to get in on the action should anything pop off

So the only person caught with a gun at this protest is a white dude?

Not true. One of the three women that were arrested earlier in the week for blocking Airline also had a gun.
