The first mall I ever visited was the university mall in Little Rock in 1967. Nothing special by today’s standards but awesome for an 11 year old kid who had never seen so many stores in one building with that much cool stuff.
I got a pair of bell bottom pants and a Nehru shirt. We didn’t have much money so I was proud of these things and was a hit at school.
Only thing is I couldn’t wear them every day, probably not a good choice.

They had a chinese place that served about 6 versions of chicken that were named different things, but were negligibly different in taste.
If there wasn't one of these in the food court it wasn't a real mall.
Hell, I think that is a requirement for any mall that is left to have one in their food court.
The one that tickles me most is the "Cajun Grill" in a mall in HSV AL.
It was a friggin' fast food Chinese rice/veggie/chicken place.
I can't remember if it was in the old Madison Square (gone now) or may still be alive in Parkway Place.
Any HSV peeps who still roam the mall halls... does it still exist?

There was the heavy set manager lady (Kirby?), the black assistant manager (Deondre?),
Remember both of them. I do believe Kirby was her name. I moved from Abercrombie to Buckle because Buckle paid commissions.
Only person I really remember was this chick that lived in Central and her dad was a cop. We banged a few times after bonding over Black Friday shopping and gifting wrapping I swear to God a 1000 boxes that day.
My dad was in banking but not financial services
