I want to be a teacher in 5 or so years. What should I do to set myself up to be qualified? Serious question

The male teachers I had at that age were more personable yet stricter at the same time. If you behaved, they were cool and would talk football and other guy type stuff when there was a bit of downtime. They made better jokes during class and had a different atmosphere for learning.

For some kids this may be the only positive male role model in their life.
