re: Male and female Marine platoons to integrate at recruit training for the first time

Article says that they will be in a separate platoon.
Don’t get me wrong, I hate this PC bullshite.
But I never knew anyone in bootcamp besides my own platoon.
Like I didn’t even know or think about any other platoons, even within 1st battalion.
I wouldn’t even think about freely looking around during bootcamp. Never left my squad bay.
Exhausted and constantly being fricked with is how recruits go through Marine Corps bootcamp. Without the ability/time for free thought.
So no, they will not be fricking the female recruits

Anyone that has been through Paris Island boot camp understands that fact. If you have not been there, you have no clue what it is like.

Graduated there in September of 2013. I don’t claim that they’re going to be fricking, I just think it’s a useless experiment that ultimately has no gain for the USMC as a whole.

They'll be living in their own squad bay with their own female DIs. It's not worth activating 4th Bn staff just for one platoon of roughly 50 recruits.
For once, the USMC is doing something that actually makes sense.

They're at Benning now too and infantry OSUT is about to be 22 weeks. It'll be like wearing deployment goggles by then.
