I still can't get over how the cop called in the plate #, like he was sitting behind it, 2 days before the car was "found" and had no explanation while on the stand.
Not to mention that sergeant was deposed in the civil case against the department just a few weeks earlier.

5. Pornography was recovered in Avery's residence

The Wisconsin State Journal reported on Nov. 12, 2005 that officers recovered "pornographic material, according to the search warrants."

Oh shite, I think I'm a murderer.

The jury for Steven Avery's homicide trial is dominated by people who hold blue-collar jobs or don't work, either because they are retired or are homemakers.

There's also a 41-year-old man who describes himself as independently wealthy, retired and as a part-time singer in a rock 'n' roll band.

Perhaps more to the point for Avery, the panel selected Friday includes a man whose son works for the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department and a man whose wife works for the Manitowoc County clerk of courts office. Avery, 44, is charged with killing 25-year-old photographer Teresa Halbach.

Those connections are significant because Avery claims that a vial of his blood was left unsecured in the clerk's office and that sheriff's deputies used it to plant his blood inside Halbach's vehicle.

The bigger crime is bullying and convicting Brendan Dassey.

Yep.

Avery might've done it, but Dassey is a legitimately mentally retarded 16 year old that was railroaded by investigators to say exactly what they wanted (on video) without a lawyer or parent present.

That is the biggest WTF of the whole series.

1. Your OP is terrible. If I hadn't watched this turd on Netflix, I would have NO IDEA what you are talking about.

2. Having watched it, the producers tried like Hell to come up with a "Paradise Lost" type doc and failed miserably.

Having a questionable interrogation/ confession by a sub-70 IQ does not a West Memphis 3 drama make.

Netflix needs to stick with women in prison sit coms and leave the real documentaries to the pros at HBO and America Undercover.

Can we talk about the smoking hot brunette reporter with the tortoise shell glasses?

What a babe.

She hasn't aged well IRL, but at the time of the trial...DAMN.

Actually the situations are similar in that they were mentally retarded, questioned without attorneys or parents, and were quite literally told everything to say by interrogators.

Did you watch Paradise lost? Because that is exactly how those three got convicted.

The fact that they only found Avery's DNA on the key was kind of crazy. I mean, this chick carried her key around for years yet her DNA was not on it?

The other thing that made me scratch my head is that the prosecutor argued that she was murdered in the trailer during the Avery trial and then turned around and argued that she was killed in the garage during the Dassey trial.

I think Dassey's brother or father might know more than they are saying. His father had it out for SA.

I do think though that TH did not like SA and that he was the call she was avoiding as her colleague mentioned.

It's plausible SA killed TH, but I think the corruption within the Manitowoc Sheroffs office is too much to ignore.

Or, that he just finishes admitting to murder and asks if he'll be back at school in time for 6th period because he has a project due.

No murder weapon, no murder site, no motive, tons of evidence that "showed up" days and then months after his property was first searched... And a crooked police department with plenty of cause to make sure he was put away. I've never seen a group of individuals look more guilty than those Manitowoc officers being deposed and questioned in the murder trial. Add to the fact that they were caught lying multiple times under oath and I think reasonable doubt is something to consider here.

That part turned my stomach. The kid was worried about missing Wrestlemania while under a fricking murder investigation. He should have never been alone with those investigators.

Or that his story changed 12 times depending on who was interviewing him.

He read kiss the girls and filled in the blanks with what happens in the book re: halbach

Lets be honest here, this kid didn't read anything that didn't involve crayons and coloring in the lines.

I'm assuming he saw the movie or someone told him to say that.

I'm sure he's seen some fricked up stuff on TV in that redneck compound.
