After a minute or two of deep digging, she produced. Shined it up on my leather boots, positioned on the terminal and tightened down like a vise.

The sex was so so but the pancakes were fluffy.

“ Left my gas cap on the pump at the station. This was back before the filler tubes had that flapper valve, so gas was sloshing out. I stopped at the grocery store, got a potato, cut it down to size, and used it to hold my gas in until I got back to the gas station to pick up my cap.”

Ok, no jokes but in my teens I had a Mustang GT that I rode pretty hard. Hit a curb going around a corner and that Dadgum gas tank is so far back and low it pinched the corner. Had a drip start from the crease and Dad was irate. We go to the store and he buys Ivory soap. White bar of Ivory soap. Rubbed along the crease and it sealed right up. Tells me to work and buy a new tank within 6 months or the car is his. I rubbed soap on that damn thing once a week until I found a salvage tank.

Was miles from anywhere when I lost my motorcycle key. Honda 450, I smoked at that time. So I used the silver paper from my cigarette pack to cross 3 poles on the ignition switch. Was able to drive home, having to stop 3 times to reattach the siver paper.
