Real question: why can't they just block the nerves for the duration of the healing and never prescribe opiates at all?
My best guess is rehab.
I was unable to rehab my shoulder for the duration of the nerve blocker.
I was recovering from a sports injury both times, so PT was fast and furious.
Also, my fingers were dangling and blue from the nerve blocker.
Which can’t be good for blood flow, healing, etc

Tramadol is weak sauce. Takes 5 to 7 to even catch a buzz. Tried once and only once. Not an opiate.

Tramadol is nauseating for me. I have had really bad lower back pain for years. Basically stuck with taking Advil. Can't get doctors to prescribe anything other than tramadol. The junkies have ruined it for those of us that really need pain relief from time to time.

Tramadol is better than Advil, hoss.
But yeah...it sucks. Thank God I somehow managed to remove myself from those evils of pills of all kinds. Talk about throwing money and life away.
