Will they still put packages on your porch?

They'll just start putting it in your neighbors box.

Have to pick it up at the post office. At least that's the case if you live where you have a rural route carrier. They won't even get out of the car for a certified letter, just pull up in the driveway and blow the horn.

If you live in town where you have a mailman that gets out of his mail jeep and walks door to door, then I still see houses with the mail thing hanging by the door.

When my cousin "Pete" was running mail in my brothers neighborhood my brother would always get his mail hand delivered to his garage in back of his house. Just so happens thats where the beer fridge is. "Pete" would drink a beer or two then finish his route. Pete's retired now.

I only get junk mail aside from the occasional invitation or card from friends and family who already have my phone number, email, Facebook, etc. All my banking and bills are paperless. Entirely online. I'm not interested in the 3 credit card or refi offers I get every day.

Yep, pretty simple.

I have trained our mail carrier to quit putting so much junk mail, sale papers, coupons, etc in my mailbox. Now, unless it's specifically addressed to me or the Misses, they don't put it in the mailbox. No more of that "Current Resident" bullshite.

Same here except our utility bill comes in the mail because Florence Futilities is a complete fricking joke of a utility.

Wish there was another option for utilities like with most services/,businesses.

My parents built their house in 1969 and have never had a mailbox. My dad worked near the Post Office and always had PO Box. Since Amazon started using USPS it's causing a problem
