Coming from the people who tried to act like Trump and his supporters were such a threat to civility.

A drink to the face is something I'd expect from a Democrat.

You know it’s assault, right?
Dumbass.

You guys are pissed this is political. If this were anything other, it's not here. It's just another a-hole being an a-hole. A drink on the face 30 years ago over Dukakis/Benson vs. Bush/Quayle is laughable.
Disagree the problem is not the politics of it but that it’s a 30 year old man assaulting a kid who was just minding his business eating at a restaurant.

And if someone stole a hat from you and tossed a drink in your face, you'd do what exactly?

It's not a big deal
If a 30 year old turd tossed a drink in the face of a freshman Sig Ep at Fred's, what transpires?

What exactly are you arguing in here besides just going against the grain of TD?

He’s just trying to justify that it’s perfectly normal behavior to assult a person because of the hat they’re wearing

I watched the video on the kid's twitter. Reading all the comments from the left wingers justifying it says everything that needs to be said about which side is truly the biggest threat to political civility.

The government is there to stop you from being illegally assaulted (well they usually aren't there to stop it, but to punish the offender). Yet again, zero to do with free speech. When you try to turn everything into a bill of rights argument, you're stretching the damn Constitution. Then you will turn around and get pissed when the other side does it too, and it makes all of us look bad.
Spoiler, it's not even in the bill of rights that you cannot get the shite kicked out of you, murdered, or even raped. Those things are obviously awful, and illegal, but that's not what the bill of rights is designed to do.
