The question I have is, if she hadn’t wondered into the street and gotten run over, would this even be a rape case? Would she have described it as rape and contacted the authorities?

good question. I guess it comes down to if she's one of them good rape victims that keeps their mouth shut and moves on w their life or if she's one of them petulant rape victims that like to tattle tale.
