Nobody cares. You chose to live there

Surely people see the dog poop when they tour. Why would anyone choose the live there?

You get rid of mold with white vinegar.

I can see attorneys lining up clients due to the black mold exposure in these pics. The place is definitely on the decline like most of the Lower Garden District right now.

Just making sure no one follows my foot steps since this property is always recommended to transplants

If its so bad why do they live there?

Those places are always trashy

It was a much better place to live pre Katrina. A lot of young professionals, Saints players and up and coming (who’s who crowd) people made the Saulet their home circa 2002.

people just dont know any better I guess it's mostly outtowners

I work across the street from them and would randomly look up prices comparable to what I’m living in and it’s absurd. For the prices they charge, and the new Delaneux down the street; why not buy a fricking house?

Just like the apartment complexes in Chalmette that all padlocked their pools after me and my friends snuck in to swim at night...
shame on them
shame on them

When was this shithole built? My home was built in 1959 and it damned sure doesn't look like that.

So it took 20 years for it to get from full-on hipster to that. That's unfortunate. I'm sure there's still enough appeal there to keep it rented out in a semi-decent way for now, but even hipsters have only so much tolerance for vermin and dog crap.
Renting isn't what it used to be. When I was still trying to decide where I wanted to live and what job I wanted, I lived in some single-family homes and duplexes that were rentals, and they were so nice that I got lazy about buying a home.
Now, it seems like there's very little for rent that would tempt me. Around 2015 it seems like I started seeing a glut of "faux luxury" properties that had gates, a coffee bar, a gym, etc. but also millions of roaches. Seems like that's the paradigm now.

Yea most Apartments life expectancy usually is around 10 years before they start having major issues then they start accepting section 8 when people dont wanna live in those shitty conditions
