Except it was an elderly man who lived alone- in a shoebox home with no a/c. It was late August and he’d not been checked on by his family for 3 weeks.
He was so swollen he slipped out of his skin when I was putting him in the body bag and then the maggots spilled out everywhere.
I had to wear one of the on scene fireman’s SCBA masks to process him.

Well this was a family member that was murdered then stuffed into a garbage can and dumped and we didn't find him until 3 weeks later in the middle of the summer in South Louisiana in an abandoned warehouse.
