My favorite hack is to fill in my lips with the red lip liner, SMU ding the middle of bottom lip a little lighter for plumping effect, then topping with a non-sticky, clear balm and blending together.
ETA - bonus tip - slightly lighter lipgloss dabbed in middle of bottom lip to enhance plump effect.
