Not sure. Girl on ebay said it was .9 carrots. I'll stop by a jeweler tonight and have it tested or whatever.

The GF and I already discussed. We aren't dropping $8K on a ring when we both have $90-$100K in student loans. I'll source something good for her but we are not breaking the bank.

Do like a guy I know once did. He was in college at the time, went to ULL. He wanted to ask his GF to marry him, he went out and bought a cubic zirconia. His exact words were "it makes no sense to spend all that money on a diamond and she will never know the difference".. A few people kept telling him... "Dude, if she ever finds out I don't think you realize how pissed off she will be". He was all like "its cool, im not worried about it".. About a two weeks later, something happened and a friend of his girlfriend told her she thought it was fake and that she should go get it checked out..She did.. And in two weeks he went from being engaged to being single.
It was one of those things that was really funny, but everyone kept laughing at him because everyone told him.. And he stay away from people for a few months.. But yeah.. I just thought about that.
