A couple I know grows their own asparagus. I was visiting one afternoon and they cut off some asparagus stalks for me to eat - freshly cut from the garden. It was unbelievably tender. If I lived and stayed put at the farm. I would try to grow some.

I either do that or Brussels sprouts w/ bacon, garlic, and onions.

Well I was unsure if I was making potatoes with dinner. Now I am for sure making them t00f. They will look like that pic when done

yep, and of course olive oil and black pepper. I have some cast iron inserts for one of my grills I do veggies on.

Hard to go wrong there. I always sauté them in butter and olive oil with max seasoning. I’ll get some next time I go to the store and try the bacon and cook them a little longer like toof says.

add chopped onions. should be able to cut them with a fork doneness

restaurants roast in oven until the outsides are done, done so I am thinking you need to go longer on your saute for sure
