I’m reading these “tips from a plumber” and I’m super worried about my house being off the ground. It says to plastic wrap the bottom of your house by my house is 5000 sq ft and has a ton of flower beds making the openings hard to get to. How important is it that I actually do this?

Went to fat kid camp? I made a pot of jambalaya that didn't come out great. I had leftovers. I am thawing meat to start cooking tomorrow, for Christmas.

If you setup to do this every year, it will really help keep you place warm. Build frames with visqueen then put them up before the first cold front.

Like the pipes under the house?

I seriously may call my gardener to help if I need to.

Yes wrap pipes under house. disconnect hoses and cover spigots. What bullfrog said about framing to enclose the bottom. Then open cabinets with pipes on exterior walls, drip water, and pray.

ga yotester.

I still have questions, but am holding off. It has been suggested that with Christmas coming, now is not a good time, nd I am trying to be respectful of the holiday season, and understand that some things just take time.

So, do you think, like, Wednesday would be good?

I'm a little worried that we won't be home for the coldest of the weather. At least the neighbor will be coming over to check on the kitty and can check on stuff. I'll leave faucets dripping.
