I think one of the biggest issues is how we view food and how much we should eat. Growing up it was drilled into me that a good meal meant that you were absolutely stuffed at the end and your plate was completely empty. I hated food going to waste even though it was my fault that I had made so much.

Well I enjoy the bike as a form of cardio. I know it’s really great for my heart and overall health as well. I also enjoy biking outdoors so that helps build up endurance for that. Having it in my house means I never have to deal with a gym. Between that and a variety of weights I have all I need for a solid workout. I also enjoy all the barre and strength and yoga classes Peloton offers as well off the bike.

I may never get back to how much I weighed in my 20s but at this point I really don’t gaf. I just want to be healthy and able to enjoy outdoor activities.

I grew up with the "clean your plate" mentality also. Luckily I did not instill that in my children and they have much healthier eating habits and no weight issues.

My sister bought kitty a backpack (ventilated mesh not plastic bubble) for Christmas so spring will bring new adventures.

Same here and my kids are all at a healthy weight, hate seeing kids that are extremely overweight.

I have a flight bag carrier now that is use to carry him in and out of hotels with and he does fine.

I am seriously also considering a pet stroller since the retirees around me have them. It is hilarious at the farmers market, car shows, festivals, church fairs....not many children but snauzers in strollers.
