nothing worse than trying to find out how bad your house is and having to go clean up.

Prayers for everyone in that situation today.

Leftovers- spaghetti or cabbage casserole

Waiting for news on the homefront. Hoping for the best. Rita caused enough heartbreak for all of us.

I never been in that position, thankfully; but I can't imagine how stressful that is.

The only storm that did serious damage to my house was Gustav. Well, I say serious. It didn't destroy it or anything, a tree fell on the back part of it, damaged the roof and messed up the door frame. But I couldn't imagine having to wait and then learning your house has a lot of damage. I really feel for those people who are going through that right now.

2 mini pizzas. Boss caught me with my eyes closed earlier. To be fair, it’s day 5/12 and I got zero sleep last night.

He just kind of said my name in a shocked voice.

I’m just glad this storm is over.

Prayers to every single person affected by the storm. It’s horrible starting over again. The only positive to ever come from something like this is you truly see people pull together to help those in need. Somewhat restores my faith in humanity, especially with all the hatred and discourse going on in this country.

08, I lost power for a few hours. Think there’s any chance I can get those guys that cook BBQ and jambalaya to come by my house and cook for me?

Or should I make my way to PJ’s joint on wheels?
