My friend has me listed with his business ac guy as an employee for his company (I used to do their real estate work) and the ac guy puts priority on the employees homes also because he values all of the commercial work so our ac gets fixed in a hurry lol
BIL also works for a large ac company locally so if it is a small issue I usually call him
And we are on the grid for the local police and fire station so we rarely have delayed power outages
We are fat and love our ac in louisiana

My step son owns an ac company.... we have zero worries. Just a couple months ago he charged up my main unit and installed a huge window unit at zero cost....

Finally getting to switch off at times since the temps are below 90. Mid to upper 90s and the A/C seems to run most of the day.
Will eat out with MIL on her dime. Probably BBQ.
