It snows 4 to 6 times a year. I don't want to store/maintain it.

All you can do is prepare as best as you can and worry about things when they become a problem. You got a dog? My dogs are like damn heaters if they lay on side of me. Burning a few candles generates heat. Get electronic hand warms.

Neighbors have em because they used to live further up north. It is usually a while til the plows get to our cul de sac and our driveway is short.
