I’m not sure if it would be classified as child abuse, but at 5 years old, I was given $1, a ziplock of peanut M&Ms, and told to sneak into different showings. Would watch 3 movies in a row and hope my mom would be there after the 3rd show.

At 9 I had a broken arm for 2 weeks before she took me to the doctor to prove it wasn’t broken and I should stop complaining.

Weird how she doesn’t recall any of it now that she’s a grandmother, and I must be misremembering.

My Brother and I saw Smokey and the Bandit a half dozen times because of Broadmoor dollar show

I agree no woman can ever be too over dressed.

Some can be way under dressed.

As far as the Broadmoor theater took a few date there in middle school. Smokey and the Bandit I saw that at the Robert E Lee theater on Plank Road.
