If you must proceed, this is what you do:
Walk up to her, look her in the eyes (note the color) and say, " I just wanted to tell you, your glasses complement your face beautifully."
You'll know whether or not to proceed from there.

I show up for my annual eye dr appt an hour early to start trying on new frames. And it usually takes me another hour after the exam to decide.
