I can honestly say, I’d NEVER rather be at work. So far today we’ve jumped on her trampoline, played in the swings, played in the sand box and gardened. Now we’re having pb&j with both grape and strawberry jelly with chips. Next up... nap time for her, laundry for me.

He had cataract surgery on his left eye.

He already had it in on the right eye. Calls me at 5 am saying he has “changed his mind and feels like he no longer needs the surgery on the left”. After I’ve taken off work tomorrow to help him out and everyone took off work so I don’t have to bring them back and forth to work since he can’t drive for 24 hours.

Convinced him to do the surgery (cataract will only get worse). Get to surgery center...he starts refusing to sign consent. Had to have the doctor explain to him why the cataract in his left eye will only get worse. So he would finally consent to surgery.

This surgery was cancelled last month because he claimed his arm hurt and he couldn’t be still so doctor cancelled.

So yeah....I need a drink or 4.... and would rather be at work than dealing with him today. I need a vacation BADLY

You definitely need a drink, Nurse. Sorry you’re dealing with that. My mom didn’t tell us she needed cataract surgery until after she totaled her car. Glad he’s getting his before that happens.

I’m just stressed. My vacation time is precious. I may need that if we decide to go with IVF since the other treatments aren’t working. Or if I do get pregnant...I may need that time off cause I have a rough pregnancy.

He is mentally ill but really selfish. He never thinks of others at all. He wanted me to cancel my surgery last December so he could get his cataract surgery done.

pop's needs to be in an assisted living home unless he already is.

He lives with my mom and brother and sister.

He is 69. No one else drives but him.
