DW hates soup

My MawMaw taught me how to make real chicken soup years ago and that’s what my kids want when they’re sick.

Are you a back of the pack starter and bobbing and weaving the first couple miles, or a front of the pack let me find my pace and hit my groove?

Evergreens get me. Fir, cedar, pine, etc. I'm good with most others and with an allergy med I'm normally ok. Just spent the whole day outside Friday and didn't realize what happened until it was too late to circumvent it messing with my Saturday morning. Honestly thought I was just tired when my eyes were feeling red and puffy Friday night.

I’ve always been a back of the pack starter. Then I find either a pacer or another runner to pace with and finish that way.

I am so glad I don’t have allergies though- because I seriously get depressed in winter when it’s too cold to go outside. As soon as spring hits - and until Halloween usually - I’m always outside if I’m not at work.

No complaints. Lack of sleep and alcohol consumption over the long weekend I'm feeling today was by choice and worth it.

Same. Though I will gauge some of the people to find a line so I can cut out on some of the bobbing and weaving. Also like to find someone I know I can pace with around the 2 mile mark just to keep me honest so I don't completely cut out and fall off or press. I'm also super competitive and will find others in view and the final 1500m is a pass as many as I can because f pace at that point I just want to finish top 10-20 in my age group.
