I keep a certain amount in savings. Whenever it looks like I may be dipping towards that amount - I work. Then I work until I don't. Sometimes it's a year... Sometimes it's five. I still do freelance graphic design on the side.
Bash all y'all want - I'm a very happy person and it's because I like my profession and my approach to it.
