TBH, though, I agree with Dave. It is kind of a sacred day to us military types.

Agreed. We lost a lot in our family during the civil war but made out better through the following conflicts and all came back afaik.

ETA: Laters gang. Time to start the grill.

I think Vietnam affected my family more than any other conflict.

Got lucky through WW2 and Korea. Gulf War 1 didn't really affect my family. OEF/OIF we got lucky. I've got two other cousins who served and we all just recently reconnected after each of us have been gone for the last 10 years plus.

im going a new doc, what do I need to tell them to insure I can get a script of Gabapentin?

Why do you anticipate a problem, do you need a ludicrous dose? Keep an open mind to the doc's advice. Just be completely honest about your history with opiates and the doctor will probably understand and try to help you.

just because in the past when I've told a doc that I've taken xyz and it works that for some reason it throws up some red flags and they write me something different. its so stupid but they get scared to death when I tell them that I've had issues with opiates even when I'm upfront and honest.

no, 600mg maybe 800mg, that's what I've taken in the past

It's probably been about 8 months or more since I've been and had a script filled. Just battled without as well as got a big sss bottle from my aunt she didn't take.

That sounds incredible, but it's 345 in the afternoon. Do you go to bed at 7 gramps?

I haven't had a drink all day, I think I'm about to open my first beer then switch over to Rum a little later.

I work in your area and have seen gabapentin being abused and diverted. The doctors managing pain for recovering opiate addicts are just trying to be careful. Good luck

thanks, i seriously just want to find something that lets me get comfortable enough to be able to fall asleep. I always end up having to run on so little sleep and this is the only thing I have found that isn't actual opiates

Nights I drink I'm even more restless. Even if it's only one or two. Alcohol is a pretty big stimulat to me. Some posters could probably testify that.
