My son is sad, but fine. The nature of the disease is such that he lost his mom years ago. Passing is just the final act. His family went up on Sunday and came back to the DC area yesterday after the funeral and a gathering.

I am fine, indeed, my doctor told me that I was yesterday. The little tumor they found in my head is benign and is shrinking - good news! So, other than needing to drop some weight (again) I’m just dandy.

Skillet, I appreciate your post. Now, get back in character and ask me why I’m still alive!

Skillet, that reminds me of the scene from Goodfellas when Tommy D and Henry Are sitting in the car waiting for the restaurant to go up in flames and Tommy says that he’s been trying to bang this broad for a month.

I did not bang that girl. Although, we may go out to dinner again. She is single, but I’m not sure if we should take it anywhere. It’s complicated. And before you ask, no - neither of us is transitioning.
