Pretty awesome. I had a great great uncle who died in WWI also. He had bought a wedding ring when he signed up, and his gal told him she would marry him if he made it back home safely. He left it with his sister for safekeeping when he shipped out. Never came home. The ring made its way down to me, and I gave it to Mrs Cove when we got married. Legacy.

She reads and follows the GoT and Walking Dead threads on the M/TV board. That's about it.

we had an older chap that did sales for us years ago, and he was a wwii vet...he arranged his marriage to a girl he'd never met that lived in new york via mail when he was stationed overseas...the marriage lasted and both were very happy. i miss that guy. he was a great story teller and he had an awesome speaking voice.
