pug lifespan is 12 to 15 years...that's not too shabby. but after about 10 years, i bet they lose control over their pee & poo and develop alzheimers.

At least Butters hasn't developed the floppy pug tongue yet that I sometimes see in older pugs. Poor guys....they walk around looking like that all the time.

They do tend to get pretty ugly as they get older.
They are pretty adorable as puppies though, maybe you can at least agree with me on that.
They are just very loving, sweet dogs with a unique personality. I'm a very affectionate person...so I need a pet that is very affectionate. Some breeds of dogs are more cuddlers than others. Pugs are perfect if you want a cuddly dog.

Our 70 lb lab mix likes to cuddle as well...for about 5 minutes, then he gets all excited and runs and brings you his ball for you to play endless fetch with him.
