no i am about to brine some breasts but i honestly don't taste any real difference for wings b/c of all the fat, season, and sauce

i really only brine bigger pieces of chicken so the salt penetrates

I don't fry chicken, but I've helped my Mom before. I don't remember it bleeding.....at the same time though, I know that when you fry deer meat, it bleeds and fried deer meat is delicious.

Yea you really need a flavorful brine to notice.

I use the standard brine mix but I would add vinegar from a jar I keep Tabasco peppers in along with dried peppers I would grind into powder. I could tell a difference with that.
